About the Author
Reuben Oliver
Reuben Oliver is an Australian-born author who has called Vancouver, London, San Francisco and New York City home — a life spent moving through the world and paying close attention to it. Before turning to fiction, he spent two decades as a television editor and Producer working on lifestyle and reality TV series — experience that helped sharpen his instinct for tension, pacing, and the moments that make audiences lean forward.
A lifelong reader with a passion for history and the kind of fiction that nightmares are made of, he is influenced by authors such as Stephen King, Dan Brown, James Herbert, Bram Stoker and Edgar Allan Poe. With a childhood shaped by films like Back to the Future and Ghostbusters, Reuben has spent decades quietly building the imagination that his debut novel demands. He now lives in New York City with his wife, two children, and a fixer-upper that keeps him honest.
The Dead Raven is Reuben's debut novel.
